Victim Identified in Fatal Crash

Police are still investigating a crash that killed a young man, meanwhile the victim has been identified.

The Mesa County Coroner's Office says 19–year–old Joshua Burris died from multiple injuries when his motorcycle hit a Jeep Cherokee.

The accident happened Tuesday afternoon on 28 1/2 Road and Elm Avenue.

Police say Burris was not wearing a helmet and crashed into the jeep that turned out in front of him.

Police are still reconstructing the crash and have not filed any charges at this time.

A fund has been set up by Burris's family. Donations can be made Grand Valley National Bank.
