Hundreds of dogs and owners attended the official grand opening of Canyon View Dog Park.
The park opened in October, but Grand Junction Parks and Recreation decided to have a grand opening to kick off the warm weather season.
The first one hundred dog owners got free goodie bags filled with coupons. The Roice Hurst Humane Society was there to provide microchipping. The Canyon View Dog Park is the only off–leash park for dogs in Grand Junction.
