Plateau Valley School celebrates the grand opening of a 4.5 million dollar facility. It is the first major addition to the school since it opened in 1959.
The new, 26,800 square foot building features a 500 seat auditorium, a full size gymnasium, weight room, and a lobby. Plateau Valley School teaches kindergarten through 12th grade, so the new building will allow the students some much needed space.
The first official function in the auditorium will be Saturday night for the graduating senior class of 2006.
