A business in Palisade is turning 11and as part of the anniversary celebration they are changing their name.
Rocky Mountain Meadery will now be called Meadery of the Rockies.
The honey winery was the first of its kind in Palisade and more than a decade later, the owners, Fred and Connie Strothman
are opening their doors to celebrate their successes and to say thank you to the patrons who have kept them in business all these years. They offered free tastings of their wines and many of the Colorado products they sell including jellies, jams, and salsa's.
