Police in Canon City, CO have arrested a teacher for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a student.
The teacher has been identified as 33-year-old Jennie Overstreet.
Overstreet is currently being held on $50,000 bond, on suspicion of felony sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
She is also facing charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and enticement of a child.
The age of the boy involved in the case has not been released; Overstreet taught sixth grade at Lincoln Elementary School in Canon City.
