GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- More than 30 Greyhound passengers are stranded here in Grand Junction, and they are not happy with the way they say the company is treating them.
The bus was on its way to Denver from Las Vegas, but because of the weather on I-70, the trip is being delayed.
Customers tell us they are not being allowed to access their luggage, among other things.
"The manager here stated that he prefer that we sleep on the floors tonight rather then put us in hotels,” said customer Derek Folley. “They had the hotel vouchers through their company policy, but he refused to use those vouchers at the Country Inn. The Country Inn states that they have 20 rooms available for the 32 passengers, and they have a shuttle that could come pick us up. But the manager said that he will not use it and everybody will be sleeping on the floors tonight."
KKCO reached out to the manager on duty, but he refused to talk to us about company policy.
Grand Junction police were called to the scene to monitor arguments between employees and customers, but no one was arrested.
