Mesa County's Court Appointed Special Advocates hosted their first ever CASA Golf Tournament Saturday.
The event was held to raise money for the court advocates of CASA.
At 8:00 a.m. the tournament kicked off with a shot gun start where 25 teams teed off around the course. The entry fee for each team is three hundred dollars. There was also a silent auction to help raise money for CASA.
There are currently 211 children who are served by a Mesa County Casa Volunteer. Saturday's tournament helped raise about $12,000 which will stay in Mesa County.
