The deadline to register to vote is today, and with less than a month until election day, officials think they will have a record turnout.

If you still need to register to vote:

Mesa County residents have until 5:00 p.m. this evening to register in person at the Clerk and Recorders Office in the Old County Courthouses, or one of the four Clerk and Recorder Motor Vehicle offices around the Grand Valley.

Delta County residents can do the same at the Clerk and Recorder's Office downtown, the County Annex in Hotchkiss, or any town and state offices in the county. And in Montrose County, residents can register to vote at the Clerk and Recorder's Office in the County Courthouse downtown. Offices in Montrose and Delta county are open until 4:30 p.m.

You can also download voter registration forms online and mail them in, as long as they are postmarked by today. To download the form click the link below this story. There is also a link to find out if you are registered to vote.
