Hundreds of people looking for a new line of work gather at the Two Rivers Convention Center for the first–ever energy services career fair. Local newspaper The Daily Sentinel teamed up with companies Pure Energy, Enterprise Products, and CUDD Pressure Control to present the career fair. Representatives with more than a dozen energy-related companies and some employment agencies including the Mesa County Workforce Center were on hand offering advice and information to potential employees. Some of the job recruiters were offering on-the-spot interviews or opportunities to fill out applications. Admission to the fair was free. With the successful turn out Thursday the newspaper is considering holding additional career fairs in the future.
