Canon City, Colo. (AP) An RV rolling through southern Colorado had a giant photo of Barack Obama on the outside and two U.S. senators inside.
But what caught the eye of a Fremont ounty deputy were two little stickers on the license plate.
Sheriff's Deputy Jonathan Manalo pulled the rented RV over because the month and year stickers were reversed.
The RV was carrying Colorado Sen. Ken Salazar, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, former Colorado Gov. Roy Romer and others on a three-day tour of rural Colorado for Obama's presidential campaign.
Obama's Colorado Campaign Manager, Ray Rivera, says the deputy exclaimed “Governor Romer! I haven't seen you since I was a little kid.”
Rivera says Manalo didn't write a ticket.
