No Tolerance Policy Takes Center Stage

Video will be available shortly.

Last year 81 underage drinkers were ticketed at Country Jam compared to 157 the year before. This year officials plan to crack down on underage drinking by doing something they've never done before. For the first time in Country Jam history, there will be a no tolerance policy in place for underage drinkers. In past years if a minor was found with alcohol they received a ticket but were allowed to stay at the music event.

This year they will not only receive a ticket, but they'll be evicted from the entire event. Country Jam's new no tolerance policy comes in part as a result of the Mesa County Commissioners voicing concerns about renewing the music event's liquor license.
