This was Bill Ritter's fourth visit since kicking off his campaign for Governor. He has his sights on getting the moderate republicans vote.

Ritter understands the importance of wildlife conservation here in Colorado because of the money that hunters, anglers and the like put into the state's economy.

Ritter who is the only Democratic Candidate running for governor, will compete against Republican Candidate Bob Beauprez in the November election.

Ritter spoke on a variety of issues, including energy development,
protecting Colorado's water, and why western slope constituents should vote for him.

In addition to his policy paper on sportsmen and the outdoors; Ritter also touted his recent three year stint in Africa. He and his wife volunteered as Catholic missionaries running a food distribution center.
