Collbran Job Corps Pitching In To Clean Country Jam Ranch

Thousands of people out at Country Jam means lots of trash and a program for at risk youth is helping the festival to clean up.

Students with the Collbran Job Corps worked out at Country Jam providing extra security and as the clean up crew to raise money for its student government. The money is also going towards trips and special events for the students. "Our students– we bring about 60 to 70 students down at 6:15 a.m. and they clean to make sure the grounds are ready. The key to any festival like this is to make sure its kept clean, so we have a trash crew that empties the trash and goes through the campground that takes care of campground people," Suzie Nichols of Collbran Job Corps said.

The Job Corps students will be out in Mack most of the day Monday to complete the clean up out at the ranch.
