8:45 - A report came in that two planes had collided in the air about 15 miles south east of Grand Junction near Whitewater

8:57 - One of the planes involved in the collision, a Cessna 180, landed at runway 4 at Grand Junction Regional Airport. That plane had 4 people on board - everyone was ok. The plane was registered out of Monte Vista Colorado.

9:00 - Crews searching for the second plane, a Cessna 210, found it upside down in a remote area near Lands End road after 9 a.m. Both people on board were ok as well. That plane belongs to the Mesa County Sheriff’s office.
