Fans of the bow–tie brand found Chevy heaven at Lincoln Park today as the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America holds it's national convention in Grand Junction this year.
With nearly 300 cars on display, there was something for nearly everyone from old roadsters to classic Corvettes. One thing that members say makes this club different is they have a competition between vehicles that come straight from the showroom, warts and all. In most concours-type events vehicles are restored to better than showroom, sometimes with non-standard wheels.
The vintage Chevys will be prowling the valley through Friday as well as taking trips to Gateway and the Colorado National Monument.
