Rain Doesn't Dampen Sales at Palisade Farmers Market

A downpour in Palisade Sunday did nothing to dampen spirits at the farmers market. Vendors stayed dry under tents and shoppers stayed out of the rain any way they could but the market was still bustling.

It might have been the early peaches, the fresh peppers and other veggies or the artists demonstrations that led people to brave the elements. And even though farmers said they didn't like getting caught in the wet stuff the rain is a welcome sign for their crops.

The Palisade Farmers Market is held every Sunday in downtown Palisade where local farmers bring their freshest fruits and veggies out to sell, all in one place.
