Stepmother Sentenced for Beating Handcuffed Stepson

A Pear Park woman convicted of handcuffing her stepson to a banister and beating him will spend the next three years behind bars and two more in community corrections.

A judge sentenced the 34-year-old today on two counts of child abuse causing serious bodily injury.
11 NEWS is not releasing the names of the suspects in order to protect the young victims in this case.

The 16-year-old victim's father was also sentenced earlier this year for taking part in the abuse.
