Senate Passes Sex Offender Bill

The Internet may soon hold the key when it comes to the whereabouts of convicted child molesters.

The Senate approved a bill that would require convicted child molesters to be listed on a national Internet database. They would also face a felony charges for failing to update their location. The Senate approved the measure on a voice vote and the house will consider it next week. President Bush is expected to sign it into law.
