People are taking in some good food and helping victims of sexual assault and domestic violence at the same time.
Hilltop's Latimer House fundraiser kicked off this Friday morning at the Wal–Mart on North Avenue. The store is selling hot–dogs, hamburgers, chips and fountain drinks with all proceeds going to the Latimer House Counseling and Advocacy Center.
The fundraiser continues Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Latimer House provides shelter for up to 20 women and children who are in life threatening situations.
