The Colorado State Patrol has released the identity of a Delta County man who was killed in a one–car crash along Highway 50 in Mesa County Sunday. At around 1 AM, troopers found the Chevy Silverado belonging to 32–year–old Eckert resident Michael Mumm more than 100 feet off of Highway 50 near mile marker 50. Mumm was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. State patrol investigators believe excessive speed, as well as alcohol and or drugs were contributing factors in the fatal crash.
