Goodwill Industries Gets Good News

Goodwill Industries got some good news Monday. The Mesa County Commissioners approved an 11 million dollar bond measure that will help fund the construction of a new retail store in Grand Junction.

Wells Fargo Bank is financing the bond measure, which will also cover the construction costs of two other stores; one in Canon City, and the other in Colorado Springs.

At 30,000 feet, the store in Grand Junction will be the largest Goodwill ever built. Ground breaking is set for next month, and it should be completed by March of 2007.
