It's been a long time coming, but now travelers can get to Las Vegas in a matter of minutes.
Allegiant Air now offers a direct flight from Grand Junction to Vegas. Flights leave every Saturday and Wednesday and return also Saturday's and Wednesday's. Allegiant Air is offering discounted tickets for the first few weeks of the flights, but even after the special, tickets will be under $100 for a one way ticket. Some are finding that they can save a lot of money flying to vegas on Allegiant, and then connecting to other flights traveling around the country.
