A ballot initiative that turned in more than enough signatures to be on the ballot, asks voters to legalize the possession of small amounts of Marijuana across the state. Safer Alternative for Enjoyable Recreation turned in 130,000 signatures. Voters will be able to vote whether or not to allow adults 21 and over to hold up to one ounce of the drug.

A similar law was passed in Denver last year. The deadline for signatures of any ballot initiative hoping to make it to the voters was 3 PM, Monday.
