It's the day after the Primary Election, and for the winners that means it's time to step away from the public spotlight while they can. Some of the winning candidates are planning on spending some time with their families, and taking some mini-vacations.
The Republican Party wants to regroup as well. The primary pits the candidates against each other, so now the focus is on uniting the party for November's general election.
After the candidates take a break for a few weeks, they will get back into the public arena to get the votes for the November 8, 2006 general election.
