A Colorado Congressman makes a special stop in Grand Junction to endorse a congressional candidate he thinks will help crack down on illegal immigration.
Congressman Tom Tancredo stood on the steps of the Old Mesa County Court House Thursday afternoon and announced he'll be backing Republican Candidate Scott Tipton. Both say they support building a barrier to secure the border and say there is a right and a wrong way to come to the United States.
Tipton is running against Representative John Salazar for the Third Congressional District Seat.
