Republican Lt. Governor candidate Janet Rowland is taking the issues to the voters, as she begins a series of forums to discuss the Republican platform.
More than a dozen voters showed up at Mesa State College Monday night to hear Rowland's open discussion of gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez' stance on fiscal responsibility.
Last November, voters passed Referendum C, which will allow the state to retain nearly $500M in tax revenue over the next five years and Rowland believes a Beauprez administration would treat the new found resources much different from opponent Bill Ritter.
Each Monday at the Mesa State student center, Rowland will be addressing a different issue and the public is invited to not just attend but ask questions as well.
