A Grand Valley Transit bus crashes into a car sending it off a bridge and into a canal some 30 feet below. The accident happened just after five o’clock Wednesday evening.

The GVT bus was stopped at a stop sign at D1/2 Road, the driver said that he looked both ways and continued through the stop sign.
That's when he hit a car sending it through the guardrail and dropping it down about thirty feet. The car landed on its wheels and police say the driver was unharmed.

The bus driver was cited for failing to yield to right away at a stop sign. Police say there were no injuries.
