A man who robbed a Montrose bank at gunpoint will spend the next four years of his life in federal prison.
According to our friends at the Montrose Daily Press, last May, 30–year–old Jude Duran put on surgical gloves, a face mask and sunglasses before entering Vectra Bank. He then pointed a gun at tellers and demanded they fill a plastic bag with cash. Duran made off with more than $7,000 but was caught by police within an hour.
He later confessed to robbing the bank.
