Some bartenders are facing a different challenge other then keeping their customers happy and the drinks flowing. The Bud Light MS U.G.L.Y Bartender Challenge is underway.
Proceeds benefit the Western Slope Office of the Colorado Chapter of the National MS Society. Different establishments from around the Western Slope nominate a bartender to compete for the winning title of the ugliest bartender. pool and golf tournaments and celebrity bar tending are a few ways that last year's challengers raised money.
The MS Ugly Bartender Challenge has been around for over the past 20 years, but started here on the Western Slope four years ago.
This year's goal is to raise $50,000 dollars. It's still not to late to join in the challenge. For more information you can call 256 – 4656.
