It's an opportunity to meet candidates and to learn more about issues that affect us all. Friday will start off Club 20's fall meetings. The two day agenda is jammed full with debates, meetings and educational sessions.
The events start at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning and run until about 9 p.m.
Reeves Brown, the Executive Director of Club 20 encourages everyone to come out to listen and speak out on the issues that surround us.
Brown says, "What the public gets is an opportunity, the best possible opportunity available anywhere on the Western Slope to meet the people and hear opinions and positions of the people who will ultimately be representing them in both the House and National Congress."
Brown says this year there are 20–30% more people signed up than previous years.
The events are open to the public and will be held at Two Rivers Connvention Center in Grand Junction.
