More information has been made available about the stabbing that happened in Fruitvale Thursday morning.
According to an arrest affidavit, 58-year-old Mack Sadler got in a fight with another man he met at a bar and told investigators he stabbed that man in the chest with a pocket knife in self-defense.
The victim, 32-year-old Douglas Bennett is in critical condition at the hospital. The incident is still under investigation.
Sadler is being held in the Mesa County Jail without bond. He'll face a judge tomorrow.
