Secretary Of State Candidate Stops By 11 News

Video will be available shortly.

Prevent voter fraud and make sure every ballot is accurately counted.
These are just some of the issues Colorado Sate Treasurer Mike Coffman says he'll address if he becomes the next Secretary of State.

Coffman served in Iraq for seven months with the United States Marine Corps helping Iraqis run their elections, now he says he's ready to run Colorado's elections.

If elected as the next Secretary of State Coffman says he would work hard to make registering to vote more stringent. Coffman also says that if elected he would work to reduce the fees charged to businesses for filing with the Secretary of State's Office. He says right now the fees are grossly in excess of the cost of administratively providing the service. Coffman is running against Democratic Candidate Ken Gordon.
