Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez makes a pledge with the people of Colorado today promising accountability in state government.
Beauprez and his candidate for Lieutenant Governor Janet Rowland have a five–point action plan for health care, education, water, taxes and immigration.
Among the points are plans to modernize medicaid, launching a privately–funded initiative to improve literacy, improving water conservation, cutting state spending by 100–million dollars,
and demanding that the federal government enforce immigration laws.
Latest polls show Beauprez still lagging behind Democratic opponent Bill Ritter by 7 to 10 points.
