A simple trespass complaint led to DEA and local law enforcement taking out a potential meth lab on wheels in Mesa County.
The seizure came about Friday, when the Mesa County Sheriff's Office responded to the 3100 block of B Rd. for a reported trespasser. Once on scene, sheriff's deputies discovered an old school bus on an unoccupied property and a search of the bus revealed component parts used to produce methamphetamine, along with a jar of a liquid believed to be meth oil, which is a concentrated form of the drug.
This is the second box lab found this year and with the bulk of the drug coming from other states and countries, lab's are difficult to come across.
With the investigation into the case is ongoing, agents are hoping to eventually discover who is behind the lab.
