It looks like Collbran is going back to the future.
A local high school class entering an international robotics competition with their award–winning robot called Tador-Chip...
Beyond trophies for sports, or good grades, there is something just as amazing rumbling at Plateau Valley High School.
Tador-Chip is a robot built from scratch by the high schoolers, and for the last year, Tador-Chip is all they've thought about.
It's job, to put as many balls as it can over a six foot rack while avoiding a group of human players trying to distract it by throwing balls in a basket.
Tador-Chip has taken down the competition in San Diego and Denver...
Now, it's time to take on the world.
the robot and its creators are going to the international competition all the way in Atlanta.
The school of about a hundred, and the robotics team of about a dozen, taking down the best and brightest from across the world.
Now the tough part, raising enough money to get there.
The team is short $9,000 and the big competition is in 15 days.
They are raising some money with bake sales and t–shirt sales, but they are running out of time.
Getting there is all they really want, but they sure wouldn't mind just one more victory.
Atlanta, here they come.
