A local business is helping out the community by sponsoring a program that helps locate missing children.
Kid Care Photo ID is a national program that started 11 years ago. The local Aim Mail Center decided to get involved because of its benefits to the community. The program allows for parents to get the weight, height, and a picture of their child. Also, a DNA kit is available, which is important because if a child does go missing or lost DNA is the first thing authorities use to assist them in locating the child.
This is the first year Aim Mail Centers in Grand Junction has been a part of this annual program, and they plan on being a part of it for years to come.
