Grand Valley residents now have a new place to have fun. Saturday was the grand opening of the Bookcliff Activity Center. The center was built in conjunction with the new Bookcliff Middle School. It is the first recreational facility for Grand Junction Parks and Recreation. The center will offer an array of activities including yoga, pilates and an after school program for kids.
The center officially started offering programs two weeks ago. The City of Grand Junction financed $1.2 million to construct the activity center.
