The District 7 Senate Candidate for the Green Party withdraws from the race. On the steps of the Old Mesa County Courthouse, Eric Rechel announced he will not continue on as a candidate for senate. Rechel says after The Daily Sentinel endorsed Democratic Candidate Dana Barker, he decided he would withdraw and endorse the candidate as well. Dana Barker is running against Republican Candidate Josh Penry.
