Man Sentenced In Murder Case

Video will be available shortly.

A Mesa County District Judge today accepted a plea agreement that sentenced a man to 32 years in prison for his role in an attempted robbery that turned deadly.

Along with two others, Eric Snyder robbed Lindsay Little on October 15th of last year. Snyder was trying to get money to pay drug debts and saw little walking near 10th Street and Belford Avenue.

Snyder walked up to Little and demanded money; when little refused, Snyder shot the man in the head at point–blank range. Little survived for nearly two weeks before succumbing to medical problems related to the shooting.

The district attorney's office agreed to a plea because Snyder admitted to his role in the shooting and testified against two other defendants in the case. He is also to pay 25–thousand dollars in restitution.
