We're learning more about a drive by shooting near Olathe that 11 News was first to tell you about.

According to our friends at the Montose Daily Press, a woman who was taken to the hospital after that shooting was injured by flying glass and possibly shrapnel in her hand. Authorities say her injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The Montrose County Sheriff's Office says late Friday night, the woman and a man were in their car near the intersection of Easter Road and 5500 Road waiting for someone, when a red Jeep Cherokee pulled up in front of them and opened fire.

Officials tell us at least six shots hit the car before the Jeep took off. At this time deputies are still searching for the Jeep and the suspects.
