Gateway Canyons is celebrating the change of seasons with an art festival.
The fall foliage lining the Unaweep Canyon made a beautiful backdrop for the resorts first ever Canyon Colors Festival. The art and wine festival is held not only for entertainment, but also for a good cause. A portion of Saturday's ticket sales will benefit Mesa County School District 51's Art Heritage Program. The volunteer program raises money to get more art into classrooms, especially the younger grades. Gateway Canyons plans on making the Canyon Colors Festival an annual event.
