Governor's Rep Hears Small Business Concerns

A representative of the governor has an understanding ear as he hears about a variety of concerns from local small businesses today at a town hall in Grand Junction.

David Clark is managing partner of Ross Reels in Montrose, so he understands the problems of small businesses. As a representative of the governor's small business advisory council he travels around the state hearing their concerns. Employee health care is one of the biggest problems, and Clark says one way to cut costs is for businesses to join together to purchase coverage in bulk.

Clark says other problems some small businesses face include finding trained help in a tight job market and immigration issues.
