I-70 Crash Leaves Two Men Injured

Video will be available shortly.

According to the Colorado State Patrol a Ford F–150 pickup truck was heading westbound on Interstate 70 when the driver lost control and rolled twice into the median of the interstate.

The driver was a 21 year old man from Clifton and the passenger a 27 year old man from Palisade were both ejected from the pick up truck. Authorities say both of the occupants are oil field workers and late hours on the job coupled with high speed may have contributed to the rollover.

Sargent Petrick with the Colorado Department of Transportation, says "It could've been speed, I don't want to speculate on that and at the same time being early morning they go into the oilfield so they may have been tired from working late last night. I don't know it's just a speculation."

Both men were taken to St. Mary's hospital, but authorities say that their injuries don't appear to be life threatening. Authorities are still trying to determine the exact cause of the crash.
