An unknown person robbed the Comfort Inn on Horizon Drive Saturday night according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
Records indicate an armed man walked into the hotel between 8 and 10 pm Saturday night. The man had a handgun and demanded money, and
a clerk gave the man about 800 dollars.
For reasons not reported police were not called until just after 11pm. Saying the case is still open, police investigators have released no additional details on the robbery.
