DENVER (AP) _ More snow is headed for the Colorado mountains
this weekend.
The National Weather Service says a fast-moving storm will sweep into the northern and central mountains Saturday, bringing from 4 to 8 inches of snow. A winter weather advisory was issued fro
Saturday evening through Sunday evening.
Strong, gusty winds were forecast in southwest Colorado. A wind advisory was issued through Saturday evening for the San Juan, La Sal and Abajo Mountains. The area includes Telluride, Lake City,
Silverton and Hesperus.
After a few days of temperatures in the 70s, the high readings in the Denver area were expected to reach only the mid-50s Saturday. The area was also in store for clouds and drizzle.
