This week's Grand Valley Power Student of the week use to dread math like many students. That is until one teacher took the time to make things clear.

Now Krystal Arnett, a Central High School Senior enjoys math so much that she competes in competitions as a member of Future Business Leaders of America.

Krystal has decided to take her passion for math one step further, as she plans to become an algebra teacher and with a four–point– zero seven grade point average, teachers say she is cut out for the job.

Linda Gustavson, Central High School Business Teacher says, "Krystal is a wonderful student, always cooperative, helpful, attentive to her studies, pleasant to be around and she assumes leadership."

Next fall Krystal plans to attend the University of Northern Colorado or Mesa State College.
