Video will be available shortly.

A Grand Junction man was convicted late last night on a total of seven counts stemming from an incident back in January of 2005.

Daniel Roy Alexander was accused of trying to shoot at a police officer after attempting to steal a car. After a week long trial a jury found Alexander guilty of second degree attempted murder. He was also found guilty on three charges of menacing with a deadly weapon, and single counts of first degree assault, first degree criminal trespassing and criminal mischief. Sentencing is set for November.
