Thanks to an early start to the fall season here in Grand Junction, the city will start their annual leaf pick up program starting Monday. A week earlier than originally scheduled.
This year the City of Grand Junction will not be accepting bagged leaves. Instead residents are asked to rake their leaves into the street at least 18 feet from the edge.
Also new this year, the city is providing a schedule indicating what day of the week leaf pick-up will occur in your area of the city. For a complete list of the schedule, log on to www.gjcity.org.
Pick-ups will continue through the middle of December.
