A Grand Junction man searching for his lost camera finds a human skull on the Grand Mesa.
Grand Junction resident Robert Frady and his son stumbled upon the human skull during their search near highway 65 at mile post 37, which is not far from Mesa Lakes Resort.
Mesa County Sheriff's deputies searched the area for additional bones, but were unable to find any more.
The coroner's office has examined the skull and returned it to the sheriff's office. No information has been released as to the age and sex or manner of death.
Frady did find his camera. It was still in good working order.
