Walker Field Airport. which considers itself the gateway to the community, has plans to make the roads around the terminal more pleasant.
The reconstruction includes realigning the roads with roundabouts. which should help to ease traffic congestion. There will also be aesthetic improvements to the roads, including sidewalks and landscape. The airport plans on starting construction in the spring, and hopes to have it completed within a year.
